Acnecide contains benzoyl peroxide which attacks the bacteria (germs) known as Propionibacterium acnes, one of the main causes of acne. Acne can appear as blackheads and whiteheads which people often refer to as pimples or spots. Acne of the face, chest, or back may be treated with Acnecide gel.

Do Not use if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to benzoyl peroxide or any of the other ingredients of Acnecide.

How to use

Wash the affected area with a mild skin cleanser and water, and gently pat your skin dry. Apply the gel in a thin layer once or twice a day to all the affected areas. If you have sensitive skin apply the gel once daily before going to bed

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, simply return it within 14 days of delivery and we will replace it or provide a refund to the value of the item (excluding shipping). The items to be returned or exchanged have to be unused, in their original condition, in their original box and properly labelled.

Damaged Goods

Please check the contents of your package on arrival. Should any items be damaged during shipment, it is important that you notify us upon opening the package and take a photograph (if possible). Also, please keep all packaging materials from the shipment. Should any item be faulty please contact us as described below so that we can provide a replacement item once the original item is returned.

If it is necessary to return items for any of the above reasons, please send us an email to orders@stratuspharmacy.ie, and note your name, order number and item details before returning the parcel. Goods returned must be posted to:
