What is the HIV Self Test?
HIV Self Test is a process in which a person collects their own specimen (oral fluid or blood) using a simple rapid HIV test and then performs the test and interprets their result, when and where they want.6

Mylan HIV Self Test is intended to be used by untrained lay users in a private setting as a self test to aid in the diagnosis of infection with HIV-1 and HIV-2 from samples of fresh, whole blood obtained through a finger stick blood collection technique.1

How to use

• Place the lancet onto the side of your fingertip and press firmly to prick your skin with the needle. Wipe drop away using a sterile pad. Gently squeeze your finger again to form a new, large drop of blood.
• With the testing device B pointing down (90°), touch the drop of blood with the tip of the device until the pointed end has filled with blood. Insert it firmly into the stand to
  puncture the foil cover of the buffer cap. Push firmly, you will feel it snap 3 times.
• Check for a pink stain that will start to appear less than a minute after the test device and buffer cap have been snapped together. Wait 15 minutes before you read the test result.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, simply return it within 14 days of delivery and we will replace it or provide a refund to the value of the item (excluding shipping). The items to be returned or exchanged have to be unused, in their original condition, in their original box and properly labelled.

Damaged Goods

Please check the contents of your package on arrival. Should any items be damaged during shipment, it is important that you notify us upon opening the package and take a photograph (if possible). Also, please keep all packaging materials from the shipment. Should any item be faulty please contact us as described below so that we can provide a replacement item once the original item is returned.

If it is necessary to return items for any of the above reasons, please send us an email to orders@stratuspharmacy.ie, and note your name, order number and item details before returning the parcel. Goods returned must be posted to:
